My review for Richard Stanley’s “Color Out of Space.” Undoubtedly one of the worst, most contrived, tonally inconsistent films I have ever seen. This movie was an absolute disaster, which is a real shame considering that Lovecraft’s stories, and his literary style, are incredibly resonant with modern audiences, and the kinds of emotions and fears that are so real and so present in the world today. I’ll let you read the review for yourself though. Sufficed to say, I was not impressed by the film.
